Ever since I moved to Vancouver Island, these little lizards caught my eye. They weren’t around in my hometown, so I got curious and did some digging. Turns out, these guys are invasive here on the island! They’re everywhere, adapting like pros to our island life. But their booming population has got some folks worried about what it means for our local critters and habitats. So, I put together an infographic to spread the word. It’s all about these cool lizards and why it’s essential to understand the balance between the locals and the newcomers in our ecosystem.
